- Look at the 5 areas of hard work and identify the area which you are most lacking. Write it down.
- Write down how can you improve in that area. Develop an action plan and adhere to it for one month. At the end of the month, write down your results and lessons learned.
- Apply those lessons to the next month and summarize your entire experiences. Take those lessons to your next evaluation and share with your immediate supervisor.

- Rewatch the 3:00-3:30 portion. Write down how you can have more “grit” at your job. Share that with a peer, friend, or someone outside of work.

- Write down which of the 8 areas are you weakest in and how to grow in it.
- Set goals to improve your competency, dependability, and and attitude for the next week, then the next month. Working at smaller things increases ability in larger areas.
- Write down your goals and share them with an accountability partner.
- Take the results of your goals to your supervisor at your next evaluation.
